DON’T THROW AWAY THOSE JUICE POUCHES!
The Solana Beach PTA is excited to announce the launch of a new juice pouch recycling program at
Skyline and Solana Vista! Through partnership with Terracycle, our students can now keep foil juice
pouches out of the landfills. Instead of throwing them away, we will collect them and send them to
Terracycle, where they are given new life as backpacks or pencil holders. In addition, our school’s
PTA will receive 2 cents for each pouch.
- Collect pouches (Capri Sun or ANY OTHER BRAND)
from home, soccer field, birthday parties, and your
lunch.
- Drop pouches into the labeled collection bin on
campus, located at the Science Lab.
Parents: take a few minutes to view the short
video on www.terracycle.net with your children. It is very
kid-friendly and will help spur children to be more
conscious about what they throw away.
